Meet The Team – Liz
I’m Liz. By now I’m sure you’re aware of our services and what we have to offer, but perhaps you’re wondering who we are. Here at EdCoCo, we don’t only love to produce amazing content for you (although we do that well!). We love to build relationships with our clients and make sure we’re the perfect fit for your business.
I hope this blog can bring you an insight into who I am and the things that inspire me to do what I do! And if nothing else, we all love being nosy, am I right?!
My journey with EdCoCo begins back in 2017. In August 2017, Lisa, our Managing Director, approached me with a fantastic opportunity to join her in the company. Of course, it was a no brainer! I had known Lisa for a good few years before this, so we truly believed we had the perfect foundation for something great – we weren’t wrong!
In 2018 I stepped up into the role of Office Manager, which was a role I was proud to take on and enjoyed greatly. Fast forward to 2020, and this is where Lisa offered me a fantastic opportunity to become a Director. If the past three years are anything to go by, I am excited to see what the next few years bring (Watch this space!) I thoroughly enjoy being a part of the EdCoCo team – seeing the business and the team grow into something amazing, working hard, and helping out other businesses along the way. Sometimes I can forget it’s ‘work’!
So, now you know the background of ‘Liz at work’ how about we get a bit more personal?
In a nutshell, I like to think I’m a positive person who can make the most of any situation given. I am that person who will walk into the office in the morning, chirpy, full of beans and ready to go – even without coffee! I enjoy keeping a positive outlook, and if all else fails, there’s always humour! There’s nothing I love more than spending time with people who can make me laugh. ‘Dad jokes’ are my favourite – the less funny they are, the funnier they are!
When I’m not working, I love spending as much time as I can with my dog and going on walks. In an ideal world, my home would be overrun with four-legged furry friends! I think it’s essential to take the time to do this as it’s a perfect opportunity to step away from the screen and get some fresh air as well as spending quality time with my dog, family and friends. It can also often be where I have my ‘light bulb’ moments – it’s crazy what taking some time out can do!
Self-care is incredibly important to me. To be able to do what I do, to the best that I can do, time to re-charge is absolutely key! With an experience of working in the health and wellness industry previously, there are many tips and tricks I have learned along the way which I always keep in mind and put in to practise and often as I possibly can to make sure I’m the best version of myself that I can possibly be. Here are a few examples of the things I love to do:
So, there we have it! A sneak-peek into the world of Liz. Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn. And if you want to get in touch to see where our copywriting can take your business, please don’t hesitate to drop me an email – email@example.com.
